ROCADE is a
simple document management system, with document
exchange capabilities between authorized users via the Internet.
ROCADE users need Internet access, Internet Explorer, and obviously
the software to read/modify the documents.

Exchange features; more precisely:
- Support completely independent Project
- Access control (per project, per folder and, within a project, read only, read/write, project controller)
- Organise each Project repository hierarchically
- List, download and upload documents in the repository
- Check-in and Check-out document
- Freeze document
- Exclude document
- Encrypt document
- Provide the complete history of a document, including all previous versions
- Maintain Summary information of each document (subject, title, reference, number of versions)
- Notify via e-mail any new action on a document
- Send via e-mail a document as attachment
- Use predefined e-mail distribution lists (different for each Project)
- List all documents sorted by status within and below a given level, with name, title and number of versions.
- Log most actions: document uploads, freeze, delete, move, exclude, e-mail, ...
- Restrict "Check-in an existing document" and "Cancel a check-out" to the user who did the check-out (or to the Webmaster)

Important note
ROCADE may not be fully compatible with Firefox. It is fully tested against Internet Explorer web browser version 6.
The Document Repository is protected with a username and password,
which use the ESA authentication system. Each user has his own username
and password, used to log the document uploads. You can Change your
Password from the login window. To obtain a username, or if you
have forgotten your password, please contact the
esait Service Desk.
